When the stove is on the Cookstop is constantly monitoring for movement in your kitchen.  If it detects that there has been no movement in the kitchen for the pre-set time, it will shut your stove off! 

Cookstop works with plug-in and wire-in electric stoves, ovens and ranges.  It works by cutting power to the stove.  When the stove needs to be turned on, press the COOK button and power is provided to the stove. 

Settings can be adjusted and locked out, making this a great addition to dorm rooms, rental kitchen areas or seniors homes.  Cookstop is simple to use so it won't create a barrier to users.
